[ THE JOURNEY ]
On the 27th of July, I went to FairPrice. My usual route/way and time taken to FairPrice is usually shorter as I take a direct bus (Bus 196) from my house and take a shortcut (walk past PolyClinic from Marine Drive bus stop) to FairPrice in less than 5 mins. Total time taken to FairPrice will usually take me around 10 mins from my house. However, this time I've decided to try out a new route/way to FairPrice. instead of taking a direct bus to parkway bus stop and then walk through the shortcut, I took 2 buses and walked a longer way to FairPrice. From my house, I took bus 16, alighted at Marine Drive bus stop and changed to bus 36 to Parkway Parade bus stop which is just one stop away from Marine Drive bus stop. Total time taken for waiting for the buses and traveling time was around 10 mins. After alighting at Parkway bus stop, I walked past OCBC Bank, walked through the hawker centre and then passed by POPULAR bookstore to reach FairPrice. Total time taken was around another 10 mins. My whole journey did not have any phone distractions and I also used SG bus app to check my bus timing.
